Patente free floating : Vintage

Buenas, queria preguntaros a ver si alguien ha encontrado algo en algun catalogo vintage, sobre las patentes de este sistema de casco flotante de las cajas. Es que me gustaria saber quien fue la primera marca que patento(invento) este sistema, si pearl o gretsch, ya que no lo encuentro por ningun sitio. Si alguien lo sabe se lo agradeceria. muchas gracias. un saludo

no se de quien es realmente, pero la verdad he visto alguna gretsch en ebay de hace unos cuantos años....

yo creo que la creadora fue Pearl..pero no me hagas mucho caso.Es una caja flipante.

Aprovechando el hilo; a ver si alguien sabe cómo conseguir herrajes de este estilo, que para las bricomanías vienen que ni pintaos.

En el libro "La batería acústica", de Felipe Cucciardi, se habla de los distintos sistemas resonadores para cascos entre ellos el Free Floating para cajas, atribuyendo su invención a Pearl aunque no menciona nada de patentes.

Aquí teneis la patente. No sale nada de Gretch ni Peral, se ve que el David (al loro al apellido) se la vendió a las dos marcas...

Abstract:
A snare drum attachment comprising a first and a second bar about the same length as the snare head diameter of a snare drum, a pair of bridges mounted between the bars, a plurality of snares stretched across the bridges and defining a snare surface, vibration-absorbing pads positioned between the bridges and the snares to cushion the snares thereby preventing the transfer of vibrations to the bridges and maintaining the snares in fixed straight lines, and a supporting bar and end plate arrangement fastened to the snare drum hoop for rigidly suspending the two bars directly below and independent of the snare head. Also provided are two separate strainers for separately adjusting the vertical drop of each bridge thereby allowing independent control of the contact pressure between the snares and the snare head adjacent each bridge and a spring-loaded screw and guide pin arrangement for adjusting the tension on the stretched snares. The position of each bridge along the bars may be individually adjusted to control the span of the snare surface which contacts the snare head and a cushioned tension plate assembly is provided to further dampen all residual vibrations remaining in the snares and thereby prevent the transfer of vibrations from the stretched snares to any metal surface.

¿Seguro que esta patente describe el sistema free floating? Porque de una lectura rápida me parece que lo que describe esta patente es un sistema de bordonera sin contacto con los aros ni el casco. Pero no estoy seguro de mi interpretación porque mi inglés es flojito.

Concho!!!! me equivoqué de patente, que tenía 10 ventanitas abiertas de "Free patents online" y copié la que no era, cachis... ahora la busco, pero estoy seguro de que la vi ahí y era de un tipo.

He visto la patente que mencionas en esa página y por los gráficos confirmo que más bien es un sistema de bordonero.

Lo más parecido que he encontrado es esto:

Pero como no conozco el sistema free floating de Pearl, no puedo decir si se corresponden con él.
