The Bobath Concept is based on the inhibition of abnormal activities to facilitate the learning of usual movements by handle of key points. This means that the treatment of them will get an enough modulation of muscle tone for a good global balance, both dynamic and static. Within the key points we find the central key point, scapular, pelvic and other secondary in hands, feet and head. These points alignment and their interaction with each other and with the support base influences postural tone, causing it to be flexor, extensor or mixed.
Objective:
Determine whether treating the key point of foot may affect posture and balance of the spine.
Material and methods:
Inclusion criteria were:
A patient with back problems and alteration of the lower limbs alignment. The data bases used were MEDLINE, LISCA and PEDro. It was Also used the official website of the magazine EL SEVIER. Putting a limit on all the items were since 2000 and the languages were English, Spanish, Catalan, Italian and / or Portuguese.
Results:
heel support was improved, thereby increasing the alignment of the entire lower limb and postural tone leading to an increase in size, although the two improvements were not extended in time.
Conclusions:
It has succeeded in proving the hypothesis of the relationship between the reaction of foot support and increase of central stability, being positive relationship due to the first increasing makes the latter increase.
GRACIAAAAAS!
