Ampliar conocimientos?
You are right, the IV only has midi out which sounds pretty useless for what you want to do.
The DTXpress III has more features than the IV, but the user interface is not as user friendly as the IV, also the sounds of the III are more like the DTXtreme IIs, they sound good out of the box and sound even better after a little tweaking. The IV has larger drum samples thus less of them (sounds) but their quality is high right out of the box. Also, the IV has 4 ports (tom1, tom2, tom3 and kick) that can be split, this means with a Y-adapter you can add 4 more single zone pads, the III can only add one extra pad on the Crash2 port.
The DTXpress III can probably be found now days fairly cheap and is a great buy if the price is low enough, but for what you want to do with your keyboards, needing midi in and out, it pretty much rules out the IV.
Good luck with whatever you decide to get.
Take care
